Kelly McDonald & Gary Karst Garden
4701 Hwy. 21, Port Elgin South
For more than 34 years, the owners have lovingly transformed their property into a thriving landscape filled with trees, flowers and a variety of unique garden spaces.
What began with very little landscaping has grown into an impressive collection with more than a dozen gardens, along with hundreds of trees planted over the years. Among the most meaningful plantings are the spruce trees that were planted more than 30 years ago with the help of young nieces and nephews and which are now lasting reminders of family memories and shared experiences.
Although choosing a single favourite plant is impossible, the gardener finds joy in all flowering plants and the beauty they bring throughout the seasons. Gardening has become an important source of great joy and growng beautiful cut flowers gives the owner a sense of great accomplishment.
