In May (2023), Peter Haskey passed away. As a long-time volunteer with the Marine Heritage Society, Peter was involved in the restoration of Chantry Island and channeled his passion for gardening into the grounds at Pioneer Park.
On Saturday, June 24th, from 8:00 a.m. to noon in memory of Peter, a garage sale of his belongings will be held – from household items to tools, home improvement supplies to garden ‘goodies’. All proceeds raised will then be gifted to the Marine Heritage Society.
