Annual Saugeen Shores Labour Day parade exceeds expectations

At the home of UNIFOR Family Education Centre in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores), the annual Labour Day parade welcomed representatives from unions across Ontario, Quebec and beyond for the annual parade.

This year’s event saw more attendees, thanks in part to Mother Nature and her roll-out of warm temperatures.

Union members, both current and retired and their families, marched in solidarity on September 1st (2025) along the recently renewed Goderich Street in Port Elgin.
