Anonymous donation brings TOM closer to the finish line

August has launched with a bang for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation as a local donor who wishes to remain anonymous has donated $100,000 to the Bring Tom to Town CT scanner campaign.

The recent announcement of the anonymous donation brings the fundraising total to just over $2,850,000 toward the $3 million campaign goal.

“Our Board and staff are so grateful for all the support the community has given to this important project. The generosity we have seen throughout this campaign has been tremendous and truly heartwarming,” said Board Chair Stacey Catalano.

The fundraising campaign is so close to the finish line, with only $150,000 to go. There are many ways people or businesses can help reach the $3 million goal for this project; donate, volunteer at Foundation events such as the Gran Fondo Lake Huron, share the Foundation’s social media posts to help spread the word.
