Bruce County is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaron Kerr as the new Director of Information Technology Services, effective December 2, 2024.
As a member of the County’s Senior Leadership Team, Jaron will manage teams responsible for end-user computing, server and network infrastructure, software management, cyber security, and voice and data communications.
Jaron is a dynamic and experienced IT executive with a demonstrated history of developing and managing comprehensive IT strategies that align with corporate goals and that enhance operational efficiency. He has held manager, supervisor, and analyst roles with Bruce County since 2007, most recently as the Infrastructure and Operations Manager responsible for strategic and operational leadership, vendor management, and oversight of the organizational IT systems and security. Jaron previously spent seven years in the private technology sector.
