The Marine Heritage Festival is all set to go and on of the most popular highlights of the Festival weekend is the Cardboard boat races featuring Captain Wayne Sparrow.
For young would-be boat crews, July 16th was a chance to get a head start on what it takes to build a cardboard boat.
Some 60 young people turned up at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) where they received lessons on boat building from Marine Heritage Society members.
They then set about to build and decorate their individual boats.
The Marine Heritage Festival begins July 26th and runs through July 28th with free activities and family-fun for all ages.
