It was an exciting day for members of the Chantry Centre 55+ as they boarded the bus for their trip to the Paisley Heritage Steam Show.
For some, it was their first time to see the Show that has become an historic site in Bruce County.
President Connie Barker, who organized the trip, said that everyone had been looking forward to the tour. “Not having been before, I am as excited as anyone!”
“We have to really thank 1st Student bus company,” said Barker. “They graciously offered to sponsor the trip and donated the bus for the purpose. Also, bus driver Tammy Wilson stepped right up and donated her time. How lucky we are to live in Bruce County!”
