Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey team Pee Wee B won its quest for gold winning the 2019 championship.
Royal Canadian Legion Peewee B team brought home the 2019 Gold medal. It was a tough series that saw the team beat Mitchell in the quarter finals and then battle against Ennismore Pee Wee Rep team winning the top spot in the finals taking the series in three games.
The team was recognized by the Mayor and Council on Monday, April 8th with each player and coach receiving a certificate and pin.
“It’s always good when we can start a Council meeting on such a positive note,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau.
