
Easter week began with sunshine but took a turn as the weekend approached.
Easter lunch at the Chantry Centre for Seniors in Southampton on Tuesday, March 32st was a full house with many wearing Easter bonnets.

Out and about, Rose of Independent known for her unusual special occasion attire, was spotted all pretty in pink.
Then on Saturday, April 4th (2026), Mother Nature brought her April showers for a soggy Saturday and it was all about umbrellas and rubber boots.
She didn’t however dampen the spirits of families in Port Elgin as many came out for the Easter Eggstravaganza at Coulter Parkette.
Although the petting zoo decided to keep their furry friends dry, face painting and bubble blowing went ahead along with the ‘goody trail’. The Easter bunny also stopped by for photos with little friends.
