Reindeer Rompers turn out in support of mental health

Mother Nature brought snow and mild temperatures for the 14th annual Reindeer Romp on Christmas Eve morning in Port Elgin.

Approximately 50 Santas, elves and ‘reindeer’ turned out to take part in the family FUNdraiser in support of Bruce Shoreline Mental Health, the local Grey-Bruce branch of the the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).

The walk, jog or run 2k, 5k or 10k event, co-hosted by the Saugeen Track and Field Club and Fitness Corner of Saugeen Shores, kicked off at 9:00 a.m. with a warm-up by Fitness Corner owner, Holly Vanderzwet.
