On Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, the Saugeen Shores Police Service received a report from Saugeen District Senior School that required an immediate police response.
As a precaution, school staff placed the school in a lockdown while police investigated a weapons-related incident that occurred outside of the school.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of an adult male and a female youth. Following the arrests, police confirmed there was no ongoing threat to students or staff, and the lockdown was lifted.
The Saugeen Shores Police Service commends school staff and students for their cooperation and swift response during this incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
