SSCC is working on building a separate Directory on their website that lists Chamber Members that identify themselves as a safe space for the 2SLGBTQ+. As well as a Directory of SSCC businesses and organizations that are owned and operated by a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

MItchell explained “The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce is very proud to have achieved this National accreditation and continues our commitment with our members and our community to support equity, diversity and inclusion. Not only is having 2SLBGTQ+ policies the right thing to do for our organization, but it is also good for business, and it’s good for Saugeen Shores.”
