The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY)) may be over for another year, but the fundraising has not stopped as the final date to donate is March 31st.
The FUNdraiser held on February 22nd in Southampton in support of the homeless, hungry and hurting people in the community, was a partnership between the United Way Bruce Grey and the Southampton Rotary Club.
Mini Jacques, Chair of the ‘United Housing for All’ team that took part in the walk, has reported that the team (UHFA) is number one on Saugeen Shores leaderboard having raised $7,015 to date.
“As Chair of this community advocacy committee,” says Jacques, “I want to personally thank all of you and our fellow CNOY teams for their time and contributions. Our team’s success speaks volumes to the dedication for the cause of affordable housing and helping at the grassroots level with participation, donations and support of helping those that are hurting hungry, and homeless in our community! Bravo!”
