Spring has sprung and at the Chantry Centre in Southampton, May is shaping up to be a busy month.
On Tuesday, May 7th, lunch will be held to honour all the mothers – your own mother, because you are a mother or event for a grandmother. Wear a flower of a Spring bonnet or fascinator.
Then, throughout the month until May 31st is the ‘Kind heart’ award contest. Nominate someone who has done a good deed on the poster in the entrance hall. Then, fill out a ballot with their and your name and drop in the ‘Kind Heart’ jar. At the end of the month, a draw will be made for a ‘sweet’ award.
Next on the month of May special activities list is the ‘Are Your Ducks in a Row’ presented by Huron Shores Hospice on May 23rd.. This end-of-life planning workshop has been designed to actually help live life more fully.
