Saugeen Shores has become known for its ‘ball-playing’ community for both adults and minors.
It all begins however, with minor T-ball where young players learn the rudiments of playing ball as part of a team.
Every Saturday morning, the T-ball teams meet at Jubilee park where parents and grandparents cheer on the young players as they learn how to hit, catch, throw and run.
To watch these young players learn is a delight … and for many, brings back memories.
