The demand for unique surgical scrub caps keeps on growing

The demand for the new colourful surgical scrub caps continues to grow.

The initiative that began last month by many volunteers has expanded to several hospitals and long-term care centres throughout Grey Bruce with many of them now requesting more caps.

“Many of the volunteers want to continue and we will, hopefully, be able to meet the demand,” said Rev. Darlene Rath, who helped organize the initiative, along with Nicole Legris who works at the Saugeen Memorial Hospital in Southampton and her mother Brenda Legris-Gainfort from Guelph, who donated the caps from Len’s Mill store and with the dedication of the local quilters’ guild and members of the Southampton Hospital Ladies’ Auxiliary.
