It’s that time of the year for a very Special doughnut … the Special Olympic doughnut at Tim Hortons.
Each year, Tim Hortons supports Special Olympics with 100% of proceeds from the Special Olympics Donut going to support sports programs for athletes with an intellectual disability in communities across Canada.
To date, this exclusive doughnut has raised nearly $1M for Special Olympics Canada.
In Saugeen Times, on Saturday February 3rd from noon to 2:00 p.m., Tim Hortons in Port Elgin (Gustavus St.) will host a Meet ‘n’ Greet for the chance to meet a Special Olympian and local mentoring Saugeen Shores Police officers. It will also be a chance to enjoy an exclusive Special Olympic doughnut with a steaming cup of Tim’s coffee.
