In a recent happening in Southampton (Saugeen Shores), two life-long friends collided in a tragedy that would change their lives and the lives of their families forever.
One friend, Koehler Weir, was lost and the other Dane Heipel, suffered numerous injuries and will have a long road to recovery. He will be off work and spending several months living away from home in London (Ontario) in order to recover.
While both families grieve, friends and the community have stepped in by establishing ‘Go-Fund-Me'(s) to help each family with the unexpected expenses that come in times of tragedy.
