Once again, budding young artists are attending the Southampton Art School summer program ‘Art Spark for Kids’.
From ages four to six and seven to 12, working with textiles, paints and … imagination, Saturday mornings are an art get-away for youngsters.
On Saturday, July 24th, Southampton Rotary Club presented more than 200 blue backpacks that will be used to carry the much-needed art supplies as the young artists trek through the community to explore their artistic nature.
“These backpacks will be well used to transport the children’s art supplies as they romp around town,” says Arts Centre Operations Manager, Karen Friis. “We truly appreciate this wonderful donation from Southampton Rotary and I know the young artists are thrilled.”
