After 20 wonderful years raising our family on Eugenia Lake, we found ourselves ready for a new chapter. With retirement on the horizon, we were looking for a place that offered not only just a home but a lifestyle. Westlinks offered everything we were searching for – active, social and convenience. Having a golf course in our own backyard was an instant draw, and the warm welcoming Front Porch community quickly confirmed we had the right place. With the expert advice of our realtor, Debbie Duplantis, the transition was smooth and stress free.
We built our 1,700 square foot bungalow with Barry’s Construction, where Sean Thompson worked closely with us to bring our vision to life. Our home exudes a contemporary beach-meets-Scandinavian aesthetic. Neutral tones and thoughtfully curated textures create a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels both stylish and serene. Large windows fill the space with natural light, enhancing the calming coastal vibe and making every room feel open and refreshed.
Designed with entertaining in mind, our home features a spacious open-concept main floor that flows seamlessly onto a large, private deck, a perfect setting for gatherings or quiet evenings outdoors. Backing directly onto the 4th green of the golf course, we enjoy uninterrupted views of the lush fairway creating the perfect back drop year-round. At the heart of our home is a stunning kitchen designed by Vandolders, blending Scandinavian simplicity with warm modern touches. The dark cupboards paired with contrasting light wood add a sleek refined finish.

The Christmas Tour of Homes will be held on Friday, November 14th from 6:00pm – 9:30pm and Saturday, November 15th from 11:00am – 3:00pm. Tickets are only $30 and can be purchased at Mensch in Port Elgin or Lac and L & Co. in Southampton. A limited number of tickets will be available for each day so purchase early to avoid disappointment.
There will be no tickets available for purchase at the homes.
The proceeds of the tour will be shared between the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Pryde Aquatic & Wellness Centre.
