The Town of Saugeen Shores has completely re-vamped its on-line presence with its new website format.
The change is dramatic and easy to navigate with visuals at the forefront.
Through its Engage Saugeen Shores portal, residents or visitors can learn about projects that are on-going in the municipality and also see those that have been completed.
The Performance Measurement Dashboard lays out the 2026 Business Plan goals and initiatives of each Town department. With description summaries, the completion or ongoing status of each and the budget allotment related to each, it is a simple and effective way to see where tax dollars are being spent and how the Town is advancing its major initiatives, and highlights achievements, throughout the year.
In addition, the Flash Vote panel encourages residents to participate in short surveys designed to ask residents for their opinions on specific topics. There is also the Report a Concern panel that enables easy access to the correct town department when residents do have a concern.
For visitors, and residents, one of the fascinating portals is the History and Heritage panel where all things related to the history of Saugeen Shores are easily navigated. For instance, the Historical Tours panel opens the doors to the history of the area through audio descriptions and items such as the Heritage Plaques tour.
