Festival of Treasures celebrating 10th anniversary – a win-win-win event

It’s that time of year again when St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Southampton celebrates the annual Festival of Treasures in support of Community charities.

In the last two years, over $15,000 has been given to local charities from this ‘now famous’ event.

The entire community is invited to participate, by donating no-longer-needed, good quality treasures.  The church will be open 9AM to noon to receive treasures on July 26th, 30th, 31st and August 1st and 2nd.

The Festival of Treasures has become known for its enormous selection that includes, glassware, household goods, antiques and collectibles, hardware, sports items, small appliances, toys, books, etc, etc (no clothing) and the dedicated Christmas section. There will also be the ‘Jewellery and Jacket Boutique’.

In addition, there will be a Silent Auction that includes a beautiful framed original watercolour by renowned Southampton artist Peri Jolley.

For more information, call the church office at 519-797-2984.

“Let’s work together to make this the biggest and best Festival of Treasures as we celebrate our 10th anniversary,” says co-organizer, Doug Goar, “It’s a win-win-win … for those wanting to donate their treasures to others, those who acquire treasures and those charities who benefit from funds raised.”
