New President and CEO takes the helm at Bruce Telecom

The Board of Directors announced today the appointment of Ray Lahoud as the President and CEO of Bruce Telecom starting June 28, 2021.

Ray brings with him decades of telecommunication knowledge and senior management experience. He has a long track record of visionary leadership, technical expertise and distinguished accomplishments in a demanding customer focussed environment.

“Mr. Lahoud is well prepared and very capable in leading Bruce Telecom through its next phase of growth and expansion” said Robert Watson, Chair of the Bruce Telecom Board of Directors.

Over the past 20+ years, Lahoud held many senior executive roles in Operations, Network, and IT disciplines. Most recently was a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Telecom, Media & Technology Practice.

Ray and his family will be relocating to the area in the next few months. Since December 2017, Tom Sullivan has served as Acting President and CEO of Bruce Telecom during the transition period.

“I would also like to recognize the leadership our Acting President and CEO, Tom Sullivan, has provided to Bruce Telecom,” added Robert Watson. Tom will reassume his seat on the Board of Directors.
