To the Editor:
As we start thinking about our winter entertainment, gift shopping and activities, let’s remember to support our local businesses and services.
We benefit so much in the way of sponsorship, donations, support and local employment from these entrepreneurs, merchants and service providers and we need to reciprocate by patronizing the shops, restaurants and locally offered services.
So let’s get out there – year round – but especially in the Fall and Winter when things slow down. Pick up great gifts at one of the many shops, get a new outfit, indulge at a spa, get a group together for regular dinner outings, pick up some flowers, buy gift certificates for special occasions – to mention only a few of our many choices.
Do it for the health of our community and BECAUSE IT IS FUN. See you in downtown Saugeen Shores.
