Jarlette Health Services launched their organization-wide mini contest, “The Race To The Stanley Cup,” to creatively garner submissions for the Better Seniors’ Care Campaign and further promote the allocation of government resources towards these three objectives.

Each of the 14 Long Term Care Homes, with the support of  6 Retirement Lodges, selected an NHL Team and have been competing in the Jarlette Hockey League (JHL) for the last 5 months. Last year, Jarlette Health Services set a submission goal of 15,000 letters, only to exceed it with a grand total of 21,055.  This year, the organization made history with a whopping campaign total of 29,256 submissions!

According to the company’s website,  “It was much more than a business to Bobbie and I,” says founder Alex Jarlette.  “It became something of a family legacy. Two generations of our family all play a critical part in continuing the work that we started in 1970. Our core philosophy of caring has extended throughout our corporate culture all the way to our vendors, partners and employees, and is one of the keys for our continued success.”
