DGR jobs in South Bruce have now evaporated says reader

To the Editor:

The DGR decision for Ignace by Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation is a milestone in the ‘cradle-to-grave’ management of our expanding use of nuclear.

I see that the Ojibway people at Lake Wabigoon took their responsibility seriously for all mankind.
I am disappointed that SON – Saugeen Ojibway Nation, could not make a similar decision.
The South Bruce recent vote in favour of the DGR in their area and the jobs it would have created have now evaporated and moved up north.  Maybe the jobs are more needed up north anyway.
The Finnish DGR may be operational before ours.
