Southampton Rotary has a winner!

Just in time for the holidays, one lucky customer was to win a Southampton Rotary gift package following the launch of the new 1938 coffee at Dizzy Bird’s in Southampton.

Created by Dizzy Bird owner, Jon Hepplewhite, the rich, Mexican dark roast is sure to be a hit and with part of the proceeds going toward Rotary projects, it’s also about helping others.

Faith Brierley-Little of Dizzy Bird’s made the draw on November 27th and Rotarian Mary Halbert announced the winner … Peter Knechtel, an employee with the Town of Saugeen Shores.

On Saturday, November 30th, Knechtel received his gift package of holiday goodies that included 1938 coffee, mugs, a Dizzy Bird T-shirt, bag, Christmas lights, candy and more.

“This is wonderful,” said Knechtel’s wife, Sue.  “There’s something for everyone!”

The 1938 coffee is in celebration of the more than 85 years that Southampton Rotary has given back to the community and around the world.
