Bruce County Playhouse gearing up for an exciting theatre season

“Hear ye’! Hear ‘ye! Bruce County Playhouse (BCP) is planning to blow away our audiences, in the funniest sense, March 1st thru 5th when Flight of the Ballooncaster: The Hottest Air takes to the stage,” says BCP Promotions Director Leslie McNamara.

Connor Thompson (our funny guy from last summer’s play, Real Estate) and Devon Hyland are performing their very funny one-act musical and, for even more excitement, the second half of the show will be an improv with audience participation. With these two Second City alumni, you gotta’ know they’ll be hilarious as they gather audience input.

Get your tickets now, save the date and come enjoy the show!

Tickets are now on sale: Adult Ticket $30 / Youth under 25yrs $20. The Youth ticket option is new this year to encourage the younger population to learn about the joys of live professional theatre. While the majority of our patrons have been seniors who love to go to theatre productions and we appreciate their ongoing support, it’s also vital to bring youth into the world of theatre.

Tickets can be purchased anytime online at brucecountyplayhouse.com or save online charges by enjoying a visit to the Southampton Arts Centre (Wed. thru Sun 12p.m.- 4 p.m.) and purchase your tickets while there.

“Another ‘newbie’ this year, is the BCP NEWSLETTER,” adds McNamara. “This edition is a first but will not be the last.  We want all our audience goers, patrons and advertisers to know what we are up to, particularly for the upcoming season.  We are very excited to be able to announce our Opening Night Gala production and one of our two summer productions.  Stay tuned through our new NEWSLETTER for more and we look forward to seeing everyone back this summer!”
