The 8th annual Hope for Cancer tournament FUNdraiser was again a sold-out event with all the funds raised staying local.
More than 100 golfers came out to raise funds for Cancer research and, this year’s tournament raised $22,692.
The funds raised will go toward important transportation for clients through the ‘Wheels of Hope’ program for medical appointments and that covers Grey-Bruce and Collingwood. “The transportation program costs some $300,000,” says Alliso Taylor-Misener.
