Lamont Sports Park set to officially open

The Town of Saugeen Shores is happy to officially announce the opening of Phase 1of the brand-new multi-diamond Lamont Sports Park facility. 

When: Saturday, June 24^th, 2023 

Where: Lamont Sports Park, 310 Concession 6, Port Elgin, ON (Google Map) 

(Due to ongoing construction, please approach from the east along Concession 6, accessing from Sideroad 13/14). 

The Opening Ceremony begins at 11 a.m. featuring: 

– Remarks from Mayor Luke Charbonneau 
– Unveiling of two plaques by the Town of Saugeen Shores Heritage Committee 
– Acknowledgement of project donors 
– Ceremonial First Pitches at all four diamonds 

There are several events and ball games happening throughout the day, including a pancake breakfast and a BBQ.  Full itinerary.
