The South Port Tuesday Ladies Golf League turned a soggy day of golf into a sunny ‘island escape’ with a ‘Margaritaville Party’, and incorporated a Tampon Tuesday with feminine products going to the local Food Bank.
With Jimmy Buffett tunes, tropical flair, and plenty of laughs, they traded birdies and bogeys for dancing, singing, and a whole lot of partying.
Sometimes the best memories aren’t made on the fairways, but under umbrellas, with good friends and a tropical drink in hand.
“Cheers to our fabulous ladies for bringing the sunshine, no matter the weather, and helping to support the women of our community!” said organizer Cheryl Smethurst.
