To the Editor:
Not to open old wounds within the community, but every time I see that former rectory now, I remember how the actions of a few citizens used ‘This Old House’ and very bad form to successfully scuttle the possibility of a joint Bruce County Museum / Bruce Power “Nuclear Innovation Institute” on this location.
I strongly support the plan of the County to demolish that house as soon as possible because it now is a symbol of victory for that vicious group who stole the vision of the future from the silent majority. For that reason alone, it should not remain standing.
Hopefully I am not alone in my thinking.
