A group of three family members from Paisley and Toronto can realize its dreams after winning a $1 million MAXMILLIONS prize in the February 18, 2020 LOTTO MAX draw.
The family of Margaret, Gordon (Paisley) and Travis Gledhill (Toronto) discovered they had won when Margaret used the OLG Lotter App. “I called Travis right away and said “I think we won a million dollars!”
It’s unbelievable,” added Travis, (42), who plans on purchasing a new pair of glasses. “We’re pretty practical people,” he said, “and we’ll use the money wisely.”
“It’s surreal,” says Gordon Gledhill (72), “We keep looking at each other and laughing.”
The winning ticket was purchased at the Giant Tiger on Goderich Street in Port Elgin.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $5.2 billion, including 68 jackpot wins and 590 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province. LOTTO MAXis $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.
