Our Remembrance Day service at Cenotaph Park this year was cool but we didn’t get the predicted snowfall – we had an excellent attendance by our Community, Legion Members and children. Thank you for all your support and thank you to our teachers for taking the time to bring our students to learn and observe a very special day.
The Cenotaph service was live-streamed by South Port Family Church so that shut-ins could view from their home and pay their respects to our Veterans.
We sincerely thank everyone for their continued support of Remembrance Day and especially to our Veterans – your courage, service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
To all the members of our community who generously donated to our Poppy Campaign or sponsored a wreath, we thank you. Through your generosity, the Legion helps our Veterans, their families and our community through donations to the hospitals and youth programs.
