June is Rotary Huron Shore Run time

Today is June 1st and the month of June is Rotary Huron Shore Run time.  As with most events, the Run this year will be virtual due to COVID-19 but, as with other fundraising events, funds are needed this year more than ever.

Over the years, the Huron Shore Run has been a key fundraiser for the local Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, Saugeen Track & Field, Day Away program and Rotary projects however, this year, all funds raised will go to support the hospital.

The Virtual Lake Huron Shoreline Run 2021 will take you 325KM along the shoreline of beautiful Lake Huron. You can run, walk, cycle, rollerblade or swim the whole distance or just your favourite part. This year, you can complete the equivalent distance in your neighbourhood on a daily/weekly basis until June 26th.  Record your distances online and watch it increase as you pursue your goal.

Registration is by donation and a charitable donation receipt will be issued for all amounts.

Everyone is encouraged to bring family and friends on board to make up a Team.  You can then combine all your individual distances or ask them to sponsor you and see your fundraising total grow on line.
