Dear Editor,
We should be proud and thankful that Saugeen Shores has some wonderful walks. I’m thinking in particular of the Rail Trail, Northshore Park, Boardwalk in Southampton, Biener Trail and Woodlands Trail, among others.
I love dogs and feel completely comfortable when confronted by strange dogs. However, others do not feel this way. So, in order for us all to enjoy these wonderful facilities, I believe we need to adhere to the “dogs on leash” ordinance which is clearly posted.
It would be disappointing if we had to waste the time of the by-law enforcement officer to get involved here. Just remember we do have a dog park!
